Lifetime of Elvis Presley

This animation
was one of seven made on the theme of Elvis Presley that became
part of a multimedia event linking video with live music and
performance. The animation was created by artists with autistic
spectrum disorders as part of Project
Ability and is an account of Elvis's life, from
childbirth to his untimely death.
Hughie
McIntyre - writer/animator
This was Hughie's first animation. The animation won the Noi
Gli Altri Special Award at the Disability Film Festival in
Turin, Italy in 1998.
Iain Piercy
- video artist
Iain has been working as video co-ordinator at Project Ability
since 1997. This work has involved facilitating and directing
animation and documentary projects with individuals with learning
difficulties. The work has been screened at festivals in Europe,
Australia and America, winning a number of awards.
