Jessica is 21 years old and resides in Oceanside, New York with her sister Carly, brother Danny and parents Rhonda and Michael Portnoy. Jessica is graduating high school in June 2007. Jessica was so excited to learn that her documentary, "My Senior Year... It's Only Just Begun", was accepted at the Sprout Film Festival. The news came to her on her 21st birthday. She could not have asked for a better present. Jessica loves Broadway and learning about anything that has to do with acting, directing, producing and filming. Jessica loves to work on computers. Jessica's father taught her how to use software programs and to use the computer as a resourceful teaching tool. This year, her media specialist at school, Suzanne Dwyer, taught Jessica how to film and edit her film. Jessica loves technology, has a passion for acting and learning, and loves her friends and teachers at Oceanside High School. What the future holds for Jessica is unknown. It will take her as far as she allows herself to go, which at this pace who knows!
