Program 2
Saturday, April 28
11:00 am - 12:30 pm

NYU Cantor Film Center

Discover insight from a life that has touched many others; a person who finds satisfaction and joy from a job done well. “Mark” is a film that will contrast our tendency to rush through life, while we ignore beauty and fulfillment in the many instances that pass us by.

Filmmakers:

Kaith Chan
Born in Hong Kong in 1983 and immigrated to Canada at the age of 6, Kaith grew up loving the art of drawing and building spaceships with Legos. He studied Fine Arts at Dawson College in 2002, pursuing his studies in art and enriching his creativity. Kaith is now in his 2nd academic year at Concordia University in hopes of becoming a successful filmmaker in animation.

Thomas Kuchiran
Thomas’ experience with filmmaking has been brief as his original passion was studio arts, which he studied at Concordia University in 2004. However, his fascination with filmmaking led Thomas to change his focus. Now an animation student, Thomas is applying all of his studio art skills to a frame-by-frame process. As a member of the Concordia Stingers football team, Thomas also displays a unique blend of artistry, creativity and athletic ability. He will have completed his B.F.A. by the spring of 2008, and anticipates more filmmaking success in the near future
