film, shot at a live performance of the Anjali
Dance Company in the UK, creates a remarkable intimacy
between the audience and dancers. The pieces explore reality
and virtuality through the dancers’ humour, honesty
and skill and the imagination is given free reign.

Anna
is a London based film and video artist. Anna has produced
numerous films working closely with her subjects and collaborators;
The space between your mind and eyes 2001, was
commissioned by Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, Viva Great
Yarmouth! 2000, a collaborative project with punk poet
John Cooper Clarke, Just a Moment 1999, ‘a
film installation of people’s experiences during moments
of clarity’ created during a residency at Prema Arts
Centre in Gloucester. Anna’s work has been shown on
Channel 4, Resonance 104.4 fm and Dance on Screen, UK.
