Stephane
Ginnsz, a 12-year-old actor with Down syndrome stars in
Duo as "Stephan," a student in special
education who falls in love with "Joan" (Eden
Riegel), a young violinist. To communicate, he draws a picture
for her. In exchange, she teaches him three notes of music,
and Stephan starts to dream: one day he will be her accompanist.

Alexandre was a 19 year old student at NYU when he wrote
Duo, his first film. 1996 Academy Awards: official
