In Svefn-G-Englar the band delivers nine peaceful minutes of white sheets, emerald grass and a movement-piece by a performance group consisting of several people with Down syndrome. Formed in 1994 Sigur Ros are an Icelandic four-piece band who rapidly shot to international success. Until the release of the single Svefn-G-Englar in 1999, the band had remained unreleased outside of their native country. As with all of Sigur Ros’ music videos, Svefn-G-Englar is artistic, beautiful and creative.
